White Magic 04:24
I'm off to Hollywood This time I'll be gone for good Six more days then I'm away Away from my drinkin' pa and cryin' ma They can all miss me when I'm gone Next time they'll see me I'm gonna be a star. And all the lights they lead me down to one, From the boulevard to the bastard sons Been running with cocaine To fix my game, I got it all figured out now White magic is gonna get me to the walk of fame. And I used to get my thrills From ladies who gave looks that killed But those days are gone Soon I'm on the streets In the land of opportunities, I have to beg on my bare knees Producers, directors, give me a job soon please. But all these scams they scare me out of town You'll find me in the whorehouse of the rising sun Whatever comes in my way, still on this train I can turn these things around My rules applied, let me play. Revelations for the struggling, cast pearls before swine And all the pretty went to dirty in my Babylon ride Come on, where's your head, have a look at you son Your blue eyes had you chained before the lights came on. Let me go, let me go away.

Black Tracks 04:25
Black tracks around the creek of pipe dreams A heart that's kept only for mockery Happiness and hope will turn the weight of your stone. Come on son, get yourself together, we're waiting. The sun won't shine unless you let it get in. The weight of your stone will turn to happiness and hope. They don’t care, Should I stay, It will end up the same anyway. They don’t care, Alive or dead, As long as there is a story to tell. These dog days leave their mark We're trembling from the start A constant state of sleep I guess we'll always be Just a breath to deep. I will gamble with the fall Guide you through it all A delightful misery I guess we'll always be Somewhere you can lean. They don’t care, Should I stay, It will end up the same anyway. They don’t care, Alive or dead, As long as there is a story to tell. If we gather all our hope, Quit dangling from their ropes, Stand on our own feet, Confront this hollow ghost, Take back what's yours and mine, Just to burn it to the ground, Illusions will walk free Pride on a thin line, (Give me fire)

Baby 04:16
I'm gonna find my baby, In all her grace. I'm gonna find that love, With all my luck. We can talk about all things we'll do Like there’s no thing we can't get through. Things are looking brighter in my crystal ball But, I better take a second look. I'm gonna find my baby It's my heart she'll take. Times, haven't been that great , But we'll get away. We’ll be like Cassidy and Sundance kid, Laughing at death’s cold grin. Things are looking brighter in my crystal ball But, I better take a second look. Climb the highest mountains And I’d sail through stormy seas Can’t wait around for a sign Because Cupid’s got a plan for me. I haven’t found my baby, No, no, no. I haven’t found that love, Despite my luck. But only fools capitulate, For my love I still have faith. Things are looking brighter in my crystal ball But, I better take a second look. Climb the highest mountains And I’d sail through stormy seas Can’t wait around for a sign Because Cupid’s got a plan for me. Climb the highest mountains And I’d sail through stormy seas Can’t wait around for a sign Because my baby, my baby finds me.

Thieves 04:53
Down here by the river, Where the thieves sailed in, Thought we were different, But we were blind from the beginning. Because I fall back into this collective story, Where indifference is key. All minds set on profits, If there's a light it'll shine bright, Shine for the lucky ones. A grave that we're digging, For sympathy in its coffin. All hail lawful sinners, Liberation as a business. Are you sure of your ideals, Of obligations and virtue, In your empire of blood. Is the throne like you expected, Grab your crown before we take it, Who are you to start a war? Down here by the river, We never tried to do good. A tempest of regretting, Acts we never understood. If I pass the lit torch, It won’t make much difference. Balancing on a thin line, The change comes before us, Revealing thieves in our minds.

Broke 03:40
We need money, just to get through the week Nearly broke you see, soon kicked out and left to the street. We've been talking about some things, That would give us some ease, but darling please Thought I wouldn't say, but this is worse than it seems And we strive alone. Darker days, darker days will come Some will take, everything that you love Honey look around, can’t you see Out of all bad comes good, although we'll soon Realize our depth, we're still going straight to hell. Always drunk, always something to talk about Always high, always someone who mocks around Smashed the windows to make us feel all right Did we get what we need? Darling don't, don't return with gold, I got you where I want, with or without a home Never mind, never mind, never, never mind Chaos and fear. Both of us won't make the fall, redemption without a cause. So I'll stay alone.

Happy Family 05:39
Love clears out the bloodstained line, While the free runs wild along a mercury tide, Shakespearean songs hung in the alley at night. Now, I'm no saint of an eternal trust But I sure can smell where the truth has/is rot And for the mist ahead I feel no luck. Where's the love? Put all your heart where the money is to get a job, When walls close in you give 'em a shove, Clap all the hands you got before they fall off and sing, (Wild and free) Feed your dreams with all the hope you got, Don't be shy set your goals high, Train to be a quitter, can't stand to be with her, But keep it together for the kids. Pull the trigger, pull the trigger, feel the thriller come in. I am a father’s son, my mother's gun Carry the burden of everybody else’s sun. Where's the love? Put all your heart where the money is to get a job, When walls close in you give 'em a shove, Clap all the hands you got before they fall off and sing, (Wild and free) Put all your heart where the money is to get a job, When walls close in you give 'em a shove, Clap all the hands you got before they fall off and sing, (Wild and free)That we’re a happy family.

By thy shadow, I sense a light for the rusty old crows Never a stranger, To the endeavors end where happiness grows. It was a night of joy But it'll be just memories of dust, tomorrow. By thy shadow, And from the wall you can see us all down low, It's not the same here, Salvation is in the cold ground, While we keep our heads high. The dark still scares us all Before the task we are blind Learning how to act right. By thy shadow, I have a glimpse of where my feet will take my soul, And I ain't going nowhere, I wish I could carry your burden so we both can grow old. But when I'm dead and gone, Then I'm just dry bones and a name, next to your tombstone.
